Temperance

A few people have been asking me why I haven’t been posting lately. There’s a few reasons:

• I’ve been quite busy with school. We’re starting to finally get into the swing of things, and I figure i could use my time a little more wisely than I did last semester.
• my GitHub token that I use to post expired and I was too lazy to fix it.
• I’m trying to speak less in general.

Well that’s a strange goal isn’t it? To speak less.

See I have this tendency, and I think so do a lot of people, to speak when I shouldn’t. I really don’t know that much about anything, and I shouldn’t act like I do. That’s where you get in a lot of trouble. Accepting that you don’t know that much is, in my opinion, the first step to real enlightenment.

Maybe not every thought is worthy of archival.
Maybe some people shouldn’t hear everything you think.
Maybe a certain temperance is necessary here.

I’m gonna add a poker bankroll tracker feature to incentivize myself to play a little better.

This site isn’t all about me. I’m simply the object of observation. There’s a reason it’s in plain black and white html.
