Since I kind of did the same thing all weekend, it makes more sense for me to just do one post.
Spent a lot of time outside and in the pool this weekend. Man it’s hot. The water temp was 91 degrees — like an actual bathtub.
Doing some preparation for the coming school year. Since I’m living off campus, I’ll be relying on my self for most of my meals, so my parents had me get a Sam’s Club membership. I grew up with Costco, so it kind of felt like cheating. They’re essentially the same store anyways — Sam’s might actually be cheaper.
I finally have my room back to how I’d like it. I’m sleeping on a mattress on a bedframe which is a nice upgrade from the couch. I have a dresser with actual clothes. I have a nightstand instead of the ground. Exciting stuff. Kind of funny how I get everything back 6 days before I leave.
I’ve been skimping on the actual “thoughts” part of the journal, but rest assured I HAVE BEEN THINKING. The majority of these thoughts have been incomplete, however (not that any thing is truly ever done being thought about, but I haven’t come up anything substantial enough to write about). Here are some topics that I’ve spent some time with lately:
Is anyone actually truly known by anyone?
Are people really trying as hard as they say?
What virtue is there in doing something in an unnecessarily difficult way?
