Hey everyone!
It's been quite some time since my last post, and I apologize. It's hard to express how busy this past week has been.
I'm at Purdue now! I moved in last Saturday, and aide from a few minor problems, our apartment is really great. We got a couch, a few recliners, and a TV with a stand. My favorite part of the apartment, however, is the speakers. We definitely have the best sound setup around.
Classes have been going well too. It has only been a week, so things have been relatively slow, but some classes got into the swing right away, namely Real Analysis which I am quite excited for. The professor is super enthusiastic and helpful, and the whole premise of the class is answering all of the questions I had from Calc I and II. I also think that my time in honors linear algebra will help with the proof-based nature of real analysis.
I like my philosophy class too. We're talking about the Milesians and their takes on metaphysics. It's all pretty new stuff to me, but quite thought-provoking.
I got a chance to meet with my professor from last post. We had a good conversation about two leviathans -- capital and the state. We were unfortunately cut short, as we got lost in conversation and had to rush to class (to which we were both late).
I also played my first poker session of the school year which went well. +150BB. Although, I'm trying to play less poker this semester than I did last. Not that I like the game any less, I just think there are better ways to spend my time. Maybe I'll play 1-2 times a week.
Expect posts to return to regular schedule after this. I'm realizing as I'm writing this that posts don't really take that much time or effort -- im just lazy.
